A steep site on a subdivided lot with a delightful view of a portion of the Brisbane River. The brief was focused around budget and simplicity. The young growing family wish to challenge their skills as home builders.
The modern contemporary home designed on a rigid grid to support the simple steel structure. A bold external form for this new build makes way for a seamless integration with the exterior, taking full advantage of the orientation to maximise on passive cooling. Natural light and ventilation flood each room which allows for views to the river.
